SugarCRM

I can't take credit for this find.  Bert sent this to Matt and me as a possible solution for our sales and customer relationship management software.  It's called SugarCRM and it is a free open source CRM package.  They have hosted ($) packages if you don't have the patience or stomach to host the site yourself.  Much like WordPress, activeCollab, etc., it runs on the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack -- though it also has a MS SQL Server connector -- and is easily installed by uploading to your server and stepping through a browser-based wizard.  I can't fully endorse it yet since I've only played around with the online demo.  However, I'm installing it now to evaluate.  Quite timely actually, as just today I sat through demos of Microsoft's Dynamics CRM and Salesforce.com.

It requires some PHP settings that most people will not have access to change. It needs a minimum of 32MB for the Memory Limit.
